Played in 16 games, starting 14 of them. Registered two goals on 14 total shots. Both of her goals came on September 6th against Queens.

2020-21 Season:  
Played exhibition schedule in Spring of 2021 due to COVID-19 Pandemic canceling Fall season.

2019 Season:
Made 13 appearances, starting 11 times.  She recorded four shots, with three on target.  

2018 Season:
Appeared in all 18 games, making 10 starts. She was second on the team in goals with five and in shots on goal at 17. Against Queens on October 9, Shumsky netted a pair.

Field of Study at Mercyhurst: Sports Medicine Pre-Physician Assistant

High School and Club Info:  Played field hockey, basketball, and softball at Taconic Hills High School.  As a field hockey player, was named a Second Team All-Star as a sophomore, and First Team All-Star twice as a junior and senior.  She was also selected as Patroon Conference All-Star MVP and Team MVP.  While playing basketball, she was a Second Team All-Star once and a First Team All-Star choice.  As a softball player also named a Second Team All-Star and a First Team All-Star, in addition to being named Team MVP.  Her senior year was chosen as a team captain and Team MVP for all three sports.

Family Info:  Daughter of Stephen and Jennifer Shumsky.  Has two siblings, sisters Kirsten and Mia.
