Women's Lacrosse Faces Off with FDU Wednesday

The Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team will continue their home slate as they host FDU Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Saxon Stadium.

Previously from the Lakers
The Lakers most recently dropped a conference matchup vs Wagner.

Emma Cimino led the Lakers in goals against the Seahawks with five. This also marked a career-high in goals scored for the senior attack.

Whitley Easton led the team in points scoring four goals, dishing two assists, and tallying six total points. Easton also was tied in caused turnovers with two.

Nicole Hetzer was the third scorer for the Lakers converting her only free position attempt. She also dished two assists.

Natalie Wilson also scored a goal and dished an assist for the Lakers.

Camryn Trybuskiewicz dished two assists.

Katie Ventresca led the team in draw controls with four and tied three others in caused turnovers with two. Ventresca also scooped up two ground balls for the Lakers.

Payton Platz led the team in ground balls with three and also caused two turnovers defensively.

Maggie Allen stood in goal for the Lakers scooping up three ground balls, causing one turnover, and making 13 saves.

The Watchlist
Easton leads the Lakers in goals, assists, points, and draw controls. She has scored 30 goals, dished 12 assists, and totals 42 points. Easton has also won 21 draw controls and caused 11 turnovers.

Cimino sits behind Easton in the goals and points race with 22  goals and 23 points.

Ventresca is tied for the lead in ground balls with 20. Ventresca also leads the team in caused turnovers with 12.

Allen has started all ten games for the Lakers, has made 101 saves so far this season and has a save percentage of 43.0%. She also sits tied for first on the team in ground balls with 20.

  • Codianni also leads FDU in ground balls with 28, caused turnovers with 16, and draw controls with 43.
  • Riley Eaton leads the Knights in points and assists with 32 points and 19 assists.
  • Skylar Goodman and Riley Schildt have each appeared in 13 games in goal for the Knights.
  • Schildt has started 10 games for FDU and has made 54 saves with a 42.2% save percentage.
  • Goodman has started three games for the Knights, has made 51 saves, and has a 45.1% save percentage.
