Women's Lacrosse Hits the Road to Face Howard

The Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team will hit the road after a three game home stint as they face Howard.

Previously from the Lakers
The Lakers most recently played FDU where they fell 6-13.

Whitley Easton led the Lakers in goals with two, assists with one, and points with three. She also led the team in draw controls with three.

Katie Napier, Camryn Trybuskiewicz, Emma Cimino, and Brynn Hall also scored a goal each for the Lakers.

Ella Scoville led the team in ground balls scooping up four. She also had one caused turnover.

Katie Ventresca continued to show up defensively for the Lakers, causing a team-high five turnovers and scooping up three ground balls. Ventresca also won a team-high three draw controls.

Allison Lyon sat not far behind Ventresca, scooping up three ground balls and causing four turnovers.

Maggie Allen continued her season long stint in net making 12 saves and grabbing two ground balls.
 
The Watchlist
Easton leads the Lakers in goals, assists, points, and draw controls. She has scored 32 goals, dished 14 assists, and totals 46 points. Easton has also won 24 draw controls and caused 11 turnovers.

Cimino sits behind Easton in the goals and points race with 23 goals and 24 points.

Keira Mangels in second in assists with six.

Ventresca leads the team in ground balls with 23. Ventresca also leads the team in caused turnovers with 17.

Allen has started all 11 games for the Lakers, has made 114  saves so far this season and has a save percentage of 43.7%. She also is second in ground balls for the team with 22.

  • Leah Croom leads the Bisons in goals and points with 23 goals and 24 points.

  • Sophia Lima leads the team in assists with eight and is tied for second in points with 23.
  • Kendall Barker leads the team in ground balls with 21 and caused turnovers with 12.
  • London James-Golas has stood between the pipes for the Bison in all 13 games, making 12 starts. She has made 101 saves and has a 38.8% save percentage.
