ERIE, Pa. -- Third-seeded Mercyhurst (16-16) made history on its home court on Thursday. In the program's first-ever NEC postseason appearance, the Lakers came away with a 70-61 win over #6 FDU (11-21) to earn a spot in the conference tournament semifinals. The Lakers will take on 5 seed Stonehill Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Athletics Center. 

Tickets for Saturday's semifinal contest vs. Stonehill go on sale Thursday, March 5 at noon. Secure your seat at hurstathletics.com/tickets. The game will have assigned seating like the quarterfinal game.

Saturday's semifinal game will air on ESPN+,YES Network, and NESN Nation. The championship game, to be televised by ESPN2, will be contested on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 pm.
