The Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team will hit the turf Friday as they host Xavier for their season opener at 12:00 p.m. at Saxon Stadium.

Emma Cimino led the Lakers in goals last week, scoring four on five shots. Cimino also grabbed one ground ball. Her performance landed her a spot on the NEC Prime Performer list.
Hannah Young and
Whitley Easton each scored two goals in the matchup. Young and Easton also each tallied an assist. Easton also had two ground balls and one caused turnover.

Audrey Seibold scored her first career goal as a Laker on her only shot.
