The Mercyhurst Men's water polo team is preparing for conference play as they have their home-opening doubleheader against Wagner at 11:00 a.m. and Fordham at 3:00 p.m.

The Lakers competed at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational to face in a scrimmage against the Pittsburgh Masters club team, and matchups against Penn State Behrend and hosts, Washington and Jefferson.

Declan Puacz recorded a hat trick in the games against Pittsburgh Masters and Washington & Jefferson. He is sure to be an offensive threat in the upcoming matches.
 
Auggie Paredes also recorded a hat trick in the game against Penn State Behrend. He also tallied assists as well, finding open teammates.
