The Mercyhurst women's soccer team will start their second year of Division I conference play at LIU Thursday. They will first head to Brookville, New York to take on LIU at 12 p.m. Thursday. They will finish their five-game road trip in Staten Island, taking on Wagner at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Both matches will be streamed on NEC Front Row.

The Lakers played one match last week, traveling to Buffalo to face the Bulls. They dropped the match 4-1.

Fiona Fraser scored the lone goal for the Lakers, notching the second of her career. The goal was assisted by Caterina Cappiello, her second of the season.
