Bridgewater, NJ- Today, the Northeast Conference released their 2025 Softball All-Conference teams. This season marked Mercyhurst's first season as a Division I university.
Eliza Reynolds and
Jazlynn Sanders both represented Mercyhurst among the featured honorees.
Eliza Reynolds was named to the NEC Softball All-Conference Second Team. The native of Union City, PA just completed her fourth season with the Lakers. This season, she batted .317 in her 126 at bats. Her 40 hits contributed to on base plus slugging percentage of .839 and 23 RBIs. The Lakers' shortstop also had four home runs, including two on the same day from the leadoff spot in a doubleheader against Stonehill.
Jazlynn Sanders was featured on the NEC Softball All-Rookie Team. The native of Pittsburgh, PA shined in her first season with the Lakers. Sanders finished with an OPS of 1.072 in her 97 at bats. She had 33 hits, 20 RBIs, and seven home runs. The Lakers' primary first basemen started and played in 36 of the team's 38 games this season.
