Eliza Reynolds Named NEC Softball Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Bridgewater, NJ - The Northeast Conference (NEC) has released their list of Spring Scholar-Athletes of the year for each sport. Eliza Reynolds adds to her extensive list of career accolades as she was named the NEC Softball Co-Scholar-Athlete of the year alongside St. Francis first basemen, Olivia Ulam.

Reynolds graduated this Spring with a degree in Sports Medicine and a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy. The Lakers' shortstop held a 4.0 GPA and will be attending Slippery Rock University in their Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program.

Prior to receiving this award from the NEC, Reynolds was named Mercyhurst's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. She was also named to the NEC Softball All-Conference Second Team, was an NEC Prime Performer three times, and had a batting average of .317 this season. On top these accomplishments, she surpassed 100 career RBIs this season with a three-run home run against CCSU in mid-April.
