Bridgewater, NJ.- The Mercyhurst women's tennis team racked up All-NEC honors to close out their first season at the Division I level on Friday. Senior
Kayla Dean was named First Team All-Conference in singles and Sophomore
Daria Rogova earned Second Team honors in singles. Dean and her partner, Senior
Roisin Murphy, also earned Second Team honors in doubles.

Dean had an impressive senior season. In her first year at the Division I level, she racked up a ton of accolades and had a lot of success. She was the runner-up in singles at the NEC Individual Championships in the fall. She was named a Prime Performer in both October and September. She posted a 5-6 record in singles in the spring, including a 2-2 record in NEC play.

Rogova finished up her sophomore season with a bang. The Kharkiv, Ukraine native had a team-best 10-2 record in singles play. She lost just one nonconference matchup and was key in the Lakers posting a 5-7 record in their first Division I season. She also was dominant in conference play. She went 3-1 in conference singles action.

Dean and Murphy rounded out the Lakers' honors. The duo was a force all year. They took home the NEC doubles championship in the fall, which marked the first NEC championship for any team at Mercyhurst.
