The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team will split a home and away series this weekend playing home on Friday and traveling to Moon Township, Pa. as they take on RMU.

The Watchlist
The Lakers scored four goals last weekend. The first goal came off the stick of
Brendan Lamb unassisted.
Will Schumacher scored the second goal of Friday's 4-3 loss to the Golden Griffins. He was assisted by
Spencer Smith and
Andrew LeBlanc. This marks his fifth of the season and keeps him at the top of the podium leading in goals and points for the Lakers.
Tyler DesRochers scored the third goal of the night. He was assisted by A. LeBlanc and
Jacob LeBlanc.
Smith Scored the lone goal in a 5-1 loss on Saturday. He was assisted by
Matteo Disipio and A. LeBlanc.
Andrew LeBlanc picked up three points in his second and third games of the season, while his brother, Jacob's, assist keeps him at the top of the leaderboard in points and assists with five.

Charles-Edward Gravel and
Salvatore Evola both played in goal last week. Evola made eight saves with no goals allowed in 25 minutes. Gravel made 43 saves and had nine goals allowed in 93 minutes.

A Closer Look: RMU
- RMU men's ice hockey has started their season 2-9-1 overall and 2-2-0 in AHA play.
- The Colonials add 11 new skaters to the ice, five are transfers and six being freshmen.
- Tanner Klimpke returns to the Colonials as one of their top offensive producers over he past two seasons with a total of 25 goals, 24 assists, and 49 points. He stands at the top of the rankings this season so far in goals with four and points with eight.
- Â Transfer Ryan Taylor is tied with Klimpke with points so far with eight. Taylor comes from Clarkson where he totaled 44 points over three years and has notched three goals and five assists thus far.Â
- Junior Jackson Reineke sits at the top of the podium with Klimpke in goals with four. He has also notched two assits for a total of six points.
- Â Freshman Bruce McDonald has made his presence known on the ice for the Colonials, leading the team in assists with seven. Taylor, Klimpke, and McDonald sit at top three in points.
- Cameron Garvey and George Krotiris, and Reineke are right behind them with six.
- Garvey and Krotiris have both notched three goals and three assists each.
- Charlie Schenkel sits at the top of the leaderboard for the Colonial goaltenders, playing 11 games and garnering a .889 save percentage and 3.52 GAA.
- Â Schenkel is a freshman and attended the Pittsburgh Penguins' 2024 NHL Development camp.
- Croix Kochendorfer is second in save percentage with .854. He sits with 7 GAA.
- Lucas Massie is second in GAA with 5.80 and has a .848 save percentage.
