Tyler DesRochers scored the first goal of the 2025-26 campaign on Friday. He was assisted by Ryan Coughlin and Dominik Bartecko.
Michael Chambre played the Friday night match up in goal for the Lakers. He made 37 saves, posting a .771 save percentage.
Freshman Charles-Edward Gravel made his first collegiate appearance Saturday. He made 44 saves, posting a .863 save percentage.

The Garnet Chargers make their first trip to Erie in matchup history. The Lakers and the Garnet Chargers have met five times, the Lakers finding their sole win in 1990.
