Mercyhurst returns home from their first road NEC game of the year to take on Duquesne at Saxon Stadium. Both the Dukes and the Lakers enter the game with a 2-0 record in NEC games. Saturday's contest will be broadcast on NEC Front Row with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.

Two of the best offenses in the NEC meet on Saturday in Erie. The Dukes and Lakers have put up staggeringly similar numbers through the first seven weeks of competition. The Lakers average 353 yards per game and the Dukes put up 355 per contest. Both teams have veteran quarterbacks at the helm in
Adam Urena and Tyler Riddell. Riddell has the best efficiency rating the NEC at 153.5 with 18 touchdowns and only three interceptions while Urena touts the best completion percentage (68.5) while averaging a league-high 205.7 yards per contest.

ON THE HILL
Mercyhurst is coming off a 19-7 victory over Wagner in their last outing on Staten Island. The Lakers were without quarterback
Adam Urena with sophomore
Alex Gevaudan starting in his place. Gevaudan completed 13-of-24 pass attempts for 191 yards and a touchdown. Running back
Brian Trobel was the star of the show for the Lakers, scoring three touchdowns with 196 all-purpose yards. He earned NEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts.

The Laker defense had one of their best outings of the year, holding the Seahawks to just seven points. They forced three fumbles in the game while posting a season-high four sacks for 30 yards lost.
Kyler Laing was named a Prime Performer by the NEC office with 2.5 sacks on the day and six total tackles.

SCOUTING THE DUKES
Duquesne also comes into Saturday's contest with a 2-0 NEC record, earning wins over Stonehill (34-14) and Saint Francis (52-7). The Dukes played two FBS teams in the nonconference slate in Pitt and Akron. They played #10/12 Lehigh as well, falling 35-21.

Quarterback Tyler Riddell has thrown a league-leading 18 touchdowns on the season, while averaging 183 passing yards per contest. Riddell's favorite target, Joey Isabella, leads the NEC in receiving yards, averaging over 77 yards per contest.
