Louisville, KY. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced their North All-Region Teams Friday afternoon and the Lakers earned six All-Region Selections.
Ethan Landymore earned All-Region First Team honors at attack. Landymore led the Lakers in goals with 48 and points with 64. The GMAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team selection is no stranger to big games, as he had seven games with 5+ points, including seven in the GMAC Semifinal and three in the GMAC Final.
Chase Petschke earned All-Region Third Team honors at midfield and Ryan Mahoney earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors at midfield. Petschke posted 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points, while earning All-GMAC First Team honors. Mahoney posted 20 goals and 18 assists for 38 points this season. Mahoney scored a point in 17 of the Lakers' 18 games.
Charlie Gleason earned All-Region Third Team honors on defense. Gleason helped the Lakers defense that held six opponents under ten goals and three teams under five goals. Gleason earned All-GMAC First Team honors.
Stephen Morley earned All-Region Honorable Mention as a Long Stick Midfielder. Morley posted three goals for three points on the season, while picking up 32 ground balls and forcing eleven turnovers. Morley earned All-GMAC Second Team honors.
Braden McCard earned All-Region Third Team honors as a Short Stick Defensive Midfielder. McCard posted five goals and five assists for ten points, while picking up 21 ground balls and forcing ten turnovers. McCard earned All-GMAC Second Team honors.
