The two teams met once at the beginning of the season in Erie. It ended up in a shootout after the Lakers 3rd period comeback with late goals coming from Keanan Stewart and Philip Waugh. Steven Agriogianis netted the only goal of the shootout as Owen Say saved all three of the shots they faced. Since they first met in the 2004/05 season, Mercyhurst is 15-17-10 against them. The Lakers hosted Holy Cross this past weekend, facing them for the first time this season. They lost in both games of the two game set, despite making comeback efforts in both. In game one the Lakers headed into the final period behind one at 3-2 with goals from the defensive line, but ultimately fell 5-2. Game two was highlighted by
Barrett Brooks scoring his 1st career goal. A 5 goal third period saw the Lakers end up on the wrong side of the score sheet at a 5-3 final in favor of the Crusaders.

Graduate Student, Dallas Tulik, has the most assists on the team (12), while Chad Veltri has 848 saves for a .916 save percentage this season. They sit at the bottom of the AHA with a 4-12-2 record in the conference.
