Kutztown, Pa.- The Mercyhurst Women's Bowling team claimed their first tournament win of the season as they took down Kutztown 4-1 to win the competition. The Lakers had an impressive weekend as they competed in just their third competition as a Division I squad. 

How it happened 

The Lakers finished up the weekend with 7-3 record, including their 4-1 win over Kutztown for the first place finish. As a team, Mercyhurst averaged a score of 184.9. Sophomore Delaney Rossette finished fifth in the competition with an average of 195.80. Delaney Rossette was also named to the All-Tournament Team. Aubrey Stewart finished with a 182.20 average and had a 217 score in her fourth game. Reigning Rookie of the Week Tia Germanich finished 21st with 177.80 average.

The Lakers will travel to Niagara for the Brunswick Fall Open on Saturday, November 2nd.
