Greensburg, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Men's Soccer team looked for a bounce back performance today as they traveled to Seton Hill for a PSAC matchup. The Lakers used three second half goals to fuel a 3-0 win over Seton Hill.
How it Happened
The Lakers came out in the first half firing, as they put three shots on goal in a matter of minutes. But after that there wasn't much from either side as it was a quiet half on both sides.
The second half was a different story as the Lakers scored three times in the half. About the midway point of the second half, Dylan Sumner was awarded a penalty kick. Sumner got it past the goaltender for his fifth goal of the season. A few minutes later the Lakers added another. Jorge Tallada Torres found the back of the net from Andreas Rossak and Dylan Sumner. The Lakers took a 2-0 lead. With just 30 seconds left, Ignacio Gallego added one more to make it 3-0. This score would stand, and the Lakers got a nice bounce back win over Seton Hill.
