ERIE, Pa. - The Men's Lacrosse team took down the Lake Erie Storm in the GMAC Semifinal round.
Quarter One
Jeremi Phoenix-Lefebvre netted the first of the game at 14:30. Colin Tardif claimed the assist.
Tardif followed his assist with back-to-back goals at 14:16 and 13:36.
Chase Petschke scored the fourth unanswered goal at 12:20. Ethan Landymore earned the apple.
Lake Erie got on the board at 11:29.
Phoenix-Lefebvre scored his second at 8:43 and Landymore followed with 4:04.
Shawn Doran did what he does best and scored right off the faceoff at 3:59.
The Lakers won seven faceoffs and were 5-5 on the clears.
The score going into the second was 7-1.
Quarter Two
Tardif did it again and scored at 13:07 and 13:01.
Hamm finally got on the board at 12:10. Tardif earned another point on the assist. Petschke followed with another at 11:36.
Luke Ingianni earned a spot on the board with a goal at 10:41.
Landymore earned another at 8:41, and Lake Erie claimed their second at 7:33.
Hamm passed the ball to Quinn Simonson. He scored at 5:13. Tardif claimed another to close out the quarter at 00:07. The score was now 15-2.
Brett Olney earned a save. The team picked up 10 ground balls.
Quarter Three
Tardif struck again to open up the quarter at 14:29.
Landymore grabbed one more, assisted by Petchke, at 10:40. Lake Erie followed to bring the score to 17-3.
Landymore found the back of the net again at 7:39. Doran earned another point on the assist.
Lake Erie scored their fourth at 3:29.
Matt Mojsej and Adam Oscarson closed out the third with a pair of goals. The score going into the last was 20-4.
The team was 100% on their clears and earned six faceoffs.
Quarter Four
Darin Santos opened up the quarter with a goal at 12:42, assisted by Ryan Mahoney.
Casey Scott closed out the scoring for the team on a man-up opportunity at 9:52.
Lake Erie went on to score four more and close the game with a score of 22-8.

Ethan Landymore had seven points and four goals.
Stephen Katz caused three turnovers.
