ERIE, Pa. - Eric Esposito won the Atlantic Hockey Scoring Championship this season, leading the conference in scoring in AHA play with 28 points on 14 goals and 14 assists.
The West Haven, Conn., native led the Lakers in scoring for the full season with 32 points on a team-high 17 goals and 15 assists. He also netted a team-high four power-play goals and registered Mercyhurst's lone hat trick of the season.
His .292 shooting percentage (14 goals/48 SOG) in AHA play second in the conference while his full-season percentage of .258 (17/66) led all Atlantic Hockey skaters. Along with his scoring prowess, his 23 blocked shots led all Laker forwards.
