How it Happened
First Period
The Purple Eagles scored the first of the game at 6:59.
Captain Rylee St. Onge accepted a pass from Carson Briere and Marko Reifenberger to tip it in at the top of the crease. The time of the goal was 7:51.
Niagara was able to get another in the net at 16:32 on a power play.
Second Period
While Beaune sat in the box, a Purple Eagle tripped on the ice. Paul Maust used that to his advantage and scored a short-hander at 4:14. Reifenberger earned apple number two of the tilt.
Point leader, Eric Esposito, wanted the lead for the Lakers. Dustin Geregach and Cade Townend gave him the puck, he ignited towards the net and scored at 10:58.
Niagara tied it up at 16:49 and followed with another goal at 17:04.
Third Period
The Purple Eagles widened the gap to 3-5 at 3:50.
