Buffalo, N.Y. — It's the final tournament of the fall for the Mercyhurst Women's Bowling Team as they head over to Buffalo, New York to take part in Daemen University's Daemen Storm Fall Classic. Play will get underway on Saturday, November 11th and last until Sunday, November 12th.

This is set to be the third time Mercyhurst has traveled to bowl at Daemen in program history. The Lakers already saw the Wildcats once this season, when they took part in the Mercyhurst Invitational at the beginning of the season.

Daemen was able to beat Mercyhurst on their home lanes in a traditional matchup by a tight score of 850-843. They finished behind the Lakers overall in the competition though, coming in 5th of 8 teams while Mercyhurst snagged 3rd.

Mercyhurst Bowled in the Niagara fall classic last time out. Samantha Strebel led the way the Lakers with a 210.8 average score and totaled 1,054 pins over five individual games, making her the 2nd best in the competition. Delaney Rossette also put in a strong tournament with a 195.2 average and 976 total pins. These performances were rewarded with Strebel earning ECC Bowler of the Week and Rossette earning ECC Rookie of the Week honors.

After the tournament wraps, Mercyhurst won't return to the lanes until January 19th when they play in Sacred Heart's Northeast Classic.
