Javier Leads Team to Overtime Win

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. - The Lakers traveled to Missouri to face the Lindenwood Lions today, Jan. 13, 2023.

The Lakers grabbed the overtime win with a final score of 4-3.

How it Happened

First Period

With 8:48 elapsed, Liliane Perreault capitalized on the first goal of the game. 

Second Period

Mary Sweetapple was able to score the second of the game at 3:41. Upson and Sydney Pedersen claimed the apples.

The Lions scored at 5:15 and 9:48 to tie the game.

Third Period

Upson grabbed her second point, first goal, of the night at 8:23. It was a powerplay goal assisted by Sweetapple and Pedersen

Lindenwood quickly answered and scored at 10:32.

Overtime

Makayla Javier scored the game winner at 3:53. Thea Johansson helped out.
