Rochester, N.Y.—The Mercyhurst Men's Country team was back on the road in Rochester to compete in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan. The Lakers finished in eighth place with a score of 188.
Alec Bidwell was the top Laker on Saturday as he finished with a time of 26:00.2 which put him in 15th place. Landon Owens finished in 31st over all and was the second-best Laker with a time of 26.39.2. Fellow freshman Evan Haemmerle and Ryan Cawley were the next Lakers to finish with times of 27:15.4 and 28:27.2 respectively. Nathan Nelson Esteban Waldman and Ethan Harman finished out the race with times of 28:51.4, 30:50.0, and 31:15.7.
The Lakers are back in action next weekend as they go on the road to the Live at Lou Classic before competing at home on Oct. 15.
