Erie, Pa – The Mercyhurst Women's tennis team captured its third consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon at home against Millersville by 6-1 margin.

The Lakers came out on all cylinders in doubles as they swept the three single set matches. The pair of Kayla Dean/Roisin Murphy registered a 6-3 win while Naomi Jahr/Nadja Ostojic earned a 6-4 doubles win. Janice Theodora and Sara Bertolez Puente rounded out doubles action with a 6-2 Laker win.

In singles, the Lakers claimed five of six matches with Dean (7-5,6-1), Jahr (6-4,6-4), Ostojic (6-2,6-1), Murphy (6-0,6-0), and Bertolez Puente (6-2,6-1) all earning points for the green and white.

Mercyhurst will be back in action next Tuesday at West Liberty University
