ERIE, Pa. - The Women's Hockey team took on the RIT Tigers tonight, Dec. 2, 2022.

The Lakers had an outstanding 5-1 win.
 

How it Happened

First Period

The Tigers were able to score first with a late goal at 19:29
 

Second Period

Sara Boucher tied the game up with a power play goal at 9:11. Jordan Mortlock and Thea Johansson claimed the assists.

At 14:40 Sydney Pedersen grabbed the lead for the Lakers. She was unassisted. 

Third Period

Boucher shined again, scoring her second of the night at 3:36 in the third. Vanessa Upson and Johansson helped out. 

Minutes later at 5:53 she saw the net again, this time assisted by Johansson and Mary Sweetapple.

Vanessa Upson made the game 5-1 boasting a goal at 12:02. Boucher and Sami Gendron assisted.
