Mansfield, Pa. - Mercyhurst Women's Cross Country raced for the first time after a couple of weeks off in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships with the team coming in 16th out of 18 teams.

How it Happened

Freshman Bella Homorody finished first for the Lakers with a time of 25:42.8, coming in the 90th while finishing first for Mercyhurst for the third time this season. Maria Marullo came in second for the Lakers at 98th with a time of 25:56.2 to round out the top-100 finishers for Mercyhurst.

Mikaela LeBaron was next in line for Mercyhurst with a time of 26:40.8 while Eleanor Chuzie followed at 27:19.3. Next was junior Emma Pringle who came in just behind Chuzie with a time of 27:21.4 while Rachel Bauer finished with a time of 27:42.8 and Madison Burncheck rounded out the field at 28:27.4.
