Erie, Pa. – Mercyhurst Men's Cross Country had a successful day at their home race at Pleasant Ridge Park. Unfortunately, their efforts were not enough to edge out the cross-town rival Gannon
 
How it happened
Alec Bidwell was the first of the Lakers across the line coming in 2^nd with a time of 26:31. Landon Owens was there next with a time of 27:16 for 4^th place. Trailing behind Owens was Evan Haemmerle with a time of 27:46 earning him 5^th place. Joe Groth and Ryan Cawley rounded out the top 10 with times of 28:22 and 28:29, earning them 8^th and 9^th place respectively.
 
What's Next
The Lakers are scheduled to race again in two weeks' time on Saturday, November 5^th, for the PSAC Championships in Mansfield, Pa.
