ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst University Athletic Department and its Water Polo student-athletes and alumni mourn the passing of head coach Curtis Robinette, who passed away early Saturday after a courageous battle with cancer.
 
Robinette was entering his 20th season as the head coach of both Laker water polo teams and is responsible for all but three of the programs' all-time wins, recording over 200 victories with each program.
 
He leaves behind his wife Molly, their two sons, Owen and Finn, and their daughter, Poppy.
 
Funeral arrangements will be shared in the coming days.
