ERIE, Pa. - Mercyhurst Men's Water Polo head coach Brandon Bricarell is thrilled to announce their schedule for the 2026 season, featuring 10 home matches. 

The schedule kicks off with an exhilarating start at the Triton Invitational hosted by the University of California San Diego, where the Lakers will showcase their skills over three consecutive days from August 28th to August 30th. Following this invitational, the team will head to the East Coast for a series of away games beginning on September 12th against Johns Hopkins and Salem. They will continue their road trip with matches against Washington & Jefferson, MIT, Fordham, and Wagner throughout September.

Mercyhurst will welcome fans back to their home pool starting September 25th with a home game against Gannon, followed by a doubleheader on September 26th against Penn State Behrend and Bucknell. The home stand concludes with a match against Mount St. Mary's on September 27th. 

October brings another intense series of competitions, including a home clash with Navy on October 3rd and George Washington on October 4th. The team will then hit the road once more to face Bucknell, Fordham, and Wagner in mid-October. They will wrap up their October slate on the road against of series of opponents including Washington & Jefferson, McKendree, Gannon and Salem on October 24th to October 25th before closing out the month at Mount St. Mary's on October 31st. 

The Lakers will conclude their regular season with a mix of home and away matches, including a pivotal home weekend on November 7th and 8th, where they'll face McKendree, Gannon, Penn State Behrend, and Salem. Their season wraps up with the MAWPC conference championship starting on November 20th.
