ERIE, Pa. -- Michael Clark and Logan Grass scored bonus points to lift the Lakers to an 18-17 victory over visiting Seton Hill Sunday afternoon inside the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. 

After dropping a decision at 125, Mercyhurst leveled the score with a 4-2 decision by Eric Bartos at 133. Alexis Soriano trailed 6-3 but was able to score an escape and a takedown to knot the score 6-6 heading to the third. After an escape to open the third, Soriano held off Tyler Kenney to give the Lakers a 6-3 advantage. 

Austin Shaw gave the Griffins the lead back with a tech fall at 149 making the score 8-6. Clark answered for Mercyhurst with a 10-2 major decision to make the score 10-8. Grass extended the advantage to 15-8 with a 17-1 tech fall. 

Seton Hill closed the gap to 15-14 with a pair of decisions at 174 and 184. Luke McGonigal tallied a 4-1 decision to give the Lakers an 18-14 lead before the Griffins finished the match with a 4-3 decision at 285 to set the final. 

The Lakers are back in action on Saturday when they host Shippensburg on Senior Day. Wrestling is set for 12 p.m. inside the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
