Women's Soccer Begins Season on the Road at Lock Haven

The Mercyhurst women's soccer team opens its season at Lock Haven on Sept. 8 at 12:30 p.m.
 
Series Rundown
Mercyhurst holds a 7-3-1 series advantage over Lock Haven. The two teams last faced off last season where the Bald Eagles won 2-1. The Lakers have scored 20 goals against while the Bald Eagles have scored eight.
 
Scouting Lock Haven
Lock Haven was ranked sixth in the PSAC Eastern Division. The Bald Eagles ended last season with a 11-5-1, 11-4-1 record. They lost 2-0 in the PSAC Quarterfinals to West Chester. Lock Haven has added nine newcomers and returned 19 players.
 
First Look at the Lakers
Mercyhurst was ranked fourth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division. The finished last season with a 8-9-1, 6-9-1 record.
