FINDLAY, Ohio – The Mercyhurst men's soccer team fell 4-1 to Findlay on Saturday during non-conference action.
Zach Martin scored his first goal as a Laker while
Henri Tophoven had an assist.
Findlay got on the board first during the 31st minute with a goal from Josh Dickinson. They took the 1-0 lead into halftime.
Martin scored to tie the game at 1-1 during the 67th minute, assisted by Tophoven.
Findlay then scored three unanswered goals to win 4-1. Josh Hales scored in the 68th minute and the 72nd minute while Alex Kerstetter scored in the 79th minute.
Martin Jarc made four saves in net for Mercyhurst. Andrew Boulton made six saves for Findlay.
Both teams had eight shots on goal while Mercyhurst held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
The Lakers are back on Oct. 2 when they host Seton Hill at Saxon Stadium at 8:00 p.m.
