The Mercyhurst women's soccer team is set to host two home games this week on Saxon Stadium. The Lakers will host cross town rivals Gannon on Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. before hosting Slippery Rock on Sept. 21 at 7:00 p.m.
All-time Series
Mercyhurst leads the all-time series 24-7-5 against Gannon. Last season Gannon won 2-1 at Mercyhurst.
Mercyhurst holds a 16-10-2 edge over Slippery Rock. Mercyhurst lost 2-0 at Slippery Rock last year.
Scouting Gannon
The Golden Knights are 2-1, 1-1 PSAC so far this season. They are coming off of their first loss of the season 4-2 to Seton Hill.
Megan McCartney is on top of the roster with two goals and five points.
In net, Kennedy Solymosi has played all three games, earning a .750 save percentage.
Scouting Slippery Rock
The Rock is 3-1, 2-0 PSAC. They are riding a three-game winning streak. They are coming off of a 4-0 win over Pitt Johnstown.
Rachel Edge is leading the roster with eight three goals and eight points.
Goalkeeper Emma Yoder was named the PSAC Western Division Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week following back-to-back shutout victories.

Mercyhurst comes into the week with a 1-0-1 overall record. It is coming off of a 10-0 win over Wheeling.
