PHILIPPI, W. Va. -- Nathan Grenon and Devin Pipher had six-point games to lead the 13th-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team to a 19-11 victory over non-conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday. The game was played at neutral-site Alderson Broaddus.

• Grenon and Pipher had four goals and two assists each in the Lakers' sixth straight victory.
• Benjamin Smith-Wilcox and Caleb Kueber contributed five-point games as both recorded three goals and two assists.
• Sam Crusha added two goals while Tommy Angelicola, Nicholas Bartone and Dan Kritkausky tallied single goals. Dom Perna added an assist. Crusha also had four groundballs.
• Haden Bates and Brandon May picked up four groundballs on the defensive end for Mercyhurst (7-2).
• Winning goalie Hunter Emerson stopped 11 shots.
• In the faceoff circle, Ryan Jobson was 23 of 28. He totaled seven groundballs.

• The Lakers jumped out to a 7-2 lead through one quarter. Kueber and Grenon had two goals apiece during the opening period.
• A pair of Grenon goals late in the second quarter enabled the Lakers to take an 11-5 edge into halftime.
• Through the remainder of the contest, Mercyhurst's lead fluctuated between 6 and 8. Pipher had a hand in three of Mercyhurst's last four goals as he had two goals and one assist in that stretch.
