Women's Ice Hockey Falls 4-0 to Syracuse

ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team lost 4-0 to Syracuse during College Hockey America action on Saturday at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
 
Victoria Klimek scored twice while Allie Munroe and Brooke Avery record the other goals for Syracuse (7-18-2, 7-5-1).
 
Klimek scored her first goal of the night at 16:35 of the first period on the power play.
 
The Orange scored two goals during the second period, one on the power play and one shorthanded.
 
Halfway through the third period,  Klimek scored her second of the night to end it 4-0 Syracuse.
 
The Lakers went 0-for-5 on the power play while the Orange finished 2-for-5.
 
Kennedy Blair stopped 16 shots on net for Mercyhurst while Ady Cohen made 21 saves for Syracuse.
 
Mercyhurst is back in action on Feb. 15-16 when they travel to Penn State. Puck drops at 6 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
