The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team is set to play in a home-and-home series with Robert Morris for its last weekend series of the regular season on March 1-2. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. both nights. The Lakers will host on Friday and travel to Moon Township, Pa. on Saturday.

Promotions
Friday will be Pucks n Paws. All dogs are welcome, tickets are $10 for owners and $5 for dogs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Erie Humane Society.
 
Last Time Out
Mercyhurst welcomed Air Force to the MIC, tying 3-3 on Friday and falling 4-2 on Saturday.
 
Joshua Lammon, Steven Ipri, Owen Norton, Matthew Whittaker, Derek Barach, James Anderson, Joseph Duszak, Taylor Best, Dalton Hunter and Tommaso Bucci had points for Mercyhurst during the two games.
 
On Friday, Stefano Cantali made 37 saves in net. During Saturday's game, Garrett Metcalf made four saves before Cantali came in and made 25 saves in a relief effort.
 
Previous Matchup
Mercyhurst and Robert Morris met for a home-and-home series back in Nov. Robert Morris swept the weekend winning 3-1 and 7-1.
 
Wes Baker, Lammon, Barach, Duszak and Best tallied points for Mercyhurst.
 
Cantali made 45 saves between the pipes while Colin DeAugstine stopped 12 shots in a relief effort on Saturday.
 
Aidan Spellacy, Michael Coyne, Kyle Horsman, Jacob Coleman, Nick Jenny, Brendan Michaelian, Eric Israel, Alex Tonge, Sean Giles, Justin Addamo, Michael Louria, Daniel Mantenuto, Alex Roberts, Nick Prkusic, Nicn Lalonde, Luke Lynch and Kip Hoffmann had points for the Colonials.
 
Francis Marotte stopped 57 shots on the weekend for Robert Morris.
 
All Time Series
The two teams are even in the all-time series going 12-12-8. Robert Morris holds a 6-3-1 edge in the last ten contests.
 
Scouting Robert Morris
The Colonials are coming into the weekend with a 10-20-2, 9-15-2 record. They are coming off of a 5-3 loss and 2-2 tie with RIT.
 
Tonge is on top of the Colonial roster with 14 goals and 29 points. Lynch is next with 25 points and close behind him is Israel with 21 points.
 
Marotte is put forth a 10-19-2 record with a 3.03 goals against average and .901 save percentage. Reid Cooper has a 0-1-0 record, 6.29 GAA and .821 save percentage. Dyllan Lubbesmeyer has made 28 saves in net.
 
Israel is tied for 28th in the nation with 0.75 points per game as a defenseman.
 
The Colonials are ranked 29th in the nation on the penalty kill going 81.8 percent and ranked 37th on the power play with 16.8 percent.

Duszak is leading the Laker roster with 16 goals, 27 assists and 43 points. Barach is next with 32 points and Lammon has 27 points.
 
Cantali has a 6-83 record, 3.06 GAA and .904 save percentage. Metcalf has a 7-6-0 record, 3.13 GAA and 3.13 save percentage and DeAugustine has a 0-2-2 record, 4.27 GAA and .893 save percentage.
 
The Lakers are ranked 44th on the power play with 15.8 percent and 51st on the penalty kill going 76.6 percent.

Duszak is ranked second in the nation with 1.30 points per game as a defenseman, fifth in the nation with 1.30 points per game, 11th in the nation with 0.82 assists per game and 26th in the nation with 0.48 goals per game.
 
Hunter is tied for sixth in the nation with 0.85 points per game as a defenseman.
 
Steven Ipri is ranked 26th in the nation with 0.66 points per game as a defenseman.

Duszak is riding a four-game point streak with two goals and two assists. Lammon is on a two-game point streak with 1 goal and three assists.
