ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's soccer team won 1-0 over Slippery Rock during Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday at Saxon Stadium.
 
Mats Rohrken scored the lone goal for the Lakers in the 86th minute of play. Henri Tophoven took the corner kick and Rohrken headed the ball into the back of the net.
 
Martin Jarc made one save in his fourth shutout of season for Mercyhurst (8-4-2, 5-2-1 PSAC).
 
Matt Hunsberger made six saves for Slippery Rock.
 
Mercyhurst held a 7-1 shots on goal advantage and 11-0 edge in corner kicks.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Nov. 6 for their last home game of the regular season at 7:30 p.m. on Saxon Stadium when they host Gannon.
