ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's hockey team fell 12-0 to visiting American International Friday night at the Mercyhurst Ice Center in Atlantic Hockey action.

The Yellow Jackets jumped the Lakers early scoring their first goal at the 8:11 into the first period. Tobias Fladeby scored twice in 27 seconds to build the lead to 3-0. AIC added two more before the end of the period to build the lead to 5-0 after one.

AIC scored four times in the second to extend the advantage to 9-0. A pair of power play goals started the third for the Yellow Jakcets and Chris Dodero set the final with a tally at the 7:59 mark of the third.

Stefano Cantali took the loss in net for the Lakers making 14 saves. Colin DeAugustine made 21 saves in relief. Gueorgui Feduolov led Mercyhurst with five shots on goal.
