The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team is set to host Lindenwood for the two-game series matchup at the Mercyhurst Ice Center on Nov. 1-2. Puck drops at 6:05 p.m. on Friday and 3:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Mercyhurst played in the first ever Women's Ice Breaker tournament and fell 4-1 to Minnesota Duluth before winning 3-1 to UConn the next day.
Sarah Nelles recorded one goal and one assist while
Emma Nuutinen,
Summer-Rae Dobson and
Liliane Perreault had one goal each.
Alexane Rheaume, Celine Frappier,
Emily Pinto,
Aubrey Cole,
Sam Isbell and
Rachel Marmen had one assist each.
Kennedy Blair made 27 saves on Friday and 30 saves on Saturday.
Previous Matchup
Last season the Lakers and Lions met four times during the regular season. The Lakers lost 4-1 during the first of the four contests and then won 5-0, 2-0 and 4-2.
Dobson, Vasko, Korzack, Robillard, Perreault, Isbell, Knott, Marmen, Rheaume and Gialames had points for Mercyhurst.
Blair played in one of the four games making 21 saves for the Lakers.
Sierra Burt, Hannah Alt, Madison Stitt, Megan Wagner and Kirsten Martin recorded points for Lindenwood.
Sophie Wolf played in three games making a total of 55 saves for the Lions.

Scouting the Lions
Lindenwood is coming into the weekend with a 2-4-2, 0-0-0 CHA record. The Lions are coming off of a 1-1 tie and 7-0 loss with then No. 4 Clarkson.
Lokelani Antonio and Madilynn Hickey are leading with three points each. There are eight players that have two points.
In net, Annika Asplundh has played in six games with a 1-3-2 record, .926 save percentage and 2.82 goals against average. Sophie Wolf has played in four games with a 1-1-0 record, .913 save percentage and 3.12 GAA. Lauren Hennessey has played in one game with a 0-1-0 record, .914 save percentage and 3.01 GAA.
Laker Outlook
Mercyhurst is coming into the weekend with a 5-2-1, 2-0-0 CHA record.
Vasko is on top of the roster with eight assists and 12 points. Nuutinen and Isbell have 10 points each while Dobson and Pinto have eight points.
In net, Blair has played all eight games with a 1.82 GAA and .928 save percentage.
Jenna Silvonen has played in one game and made four saves.
Laker Firsts
Cole tallied her first collegiate point, with an assist against UConn on Saturday.
Special Teams
Mercyhurst is ranked ninth in the nation on the power play with 24.4 percent. The Lakers are ranked 10th on the penalty kill with 90.9 percent.
