Men's Soccer Shuts Out Seton Hill 2-0

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's soccer team shutout Seton Hill 2-0 during Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Wednesday.
 
Mario Castel and Connor Wilkinson scored goals for Mercyhurst (7-4-2, 4-2-1 PSAC).
 
Castel started off the scoring for the game during the ninth minute of play after creating a turnover at the top of the box and found the back of the net.
 
Wilkinson then scored the insurance goal during the 80th minute. Hady Sarr sent a thru ball and Wilkinson scored near post.
 
Martin Jarc was perfect in net with three saves for the Lakers. Austin Iddon made seven saves for the Griffins.
 
Mercyhurst held a 9-3 shot on goal advantage and a 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Nov. 2 when they host Slippery Rock for 7:30 p.m. on Saxon Stadium.
