Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team rallied for a 3-1 win over UConn on Saturday during the third place game of the Women's Ice Breaker Tournament in Buffalo, N.Y.

Liliane Perreault scored for Mercyhurst (
After a scoreless first period, Nuutinen scored to get the Lakers on the board first at 1:58 of the second period. She carried the puck up the ice and went her way around the defensemen to give Mercyhurst a 1-0 lead.
While on the power play, Wabick scored for UConn to tie the game at 1-1.
Kennedy Blair made 30 saves in net for Mercyhurst while Sam Carpenteir-Yelle made 17 saves in net for UConn.
During the third period, Mercyhurst scored two goals to win 3-1.
Dobson give the Lakers their lead back at 12:24 of the third period assisted by Cole. Dobson took the puck drop the middle and found the back of the net.
Perreault then made it 3-1 with her first goal of the season off of a redirect from Isbell. Marmen also had an assist.
The Lakers went 0-for-2 on the power play while the Huskies ended 1-for-5.
The Lakers are back in action Nov. 1-2 when they host Lindenwood for the two game College Hockey America weekend series. Puck drops at 6:05 p.m. on Friday and 3:05 p.m. on Saturday.
