Derek Barach and
Joseph Duszak have been nominated for the 38th annual Hobey Baker Memorial Award as announced on Wednesday.

The award is given to the nation's top NCAA men's ice hockey player. Players are nominated by the athletic departments of their schools.
Fan voting is open now and there's a limit of one vote per day until Mar. 10. The second round of voting will take place on Mar. 20-31.
Duszak, a junior, has 81 career points as a Laker (25 goals and 56 assists). In 2017-18, he was selected to the All-AHA Second Team. Duszak currently leads the '18-19 Lakers in goals (11), assists (18) and points (29). He has a plus-7 rating and totals 19 blocked shots, four game-winning goals, two power-play goals and one shorthanded goal.
Barach, a senior, has ascended to sixth on the program's all-time scoring list with 131 career points. He has 44 goals and 87 assists. Barach, who is fourth in program history on the assists list, has earned All-Atlantic Hockey accolades in each of his first three seasons as a Laker. He was All-AHA Third Team and All-AHA Rookie Team in 2015-16 before garnering All-AHA Second Team honors in both 2016-17 and 2017-18. This season, Barach ranks second on the squad in goals (10), assists (14) and points (24) while holding a plus-3 matring. He has 18 blocks, three power-play goals and one game-winning goal.
