BUFFALO, N.Y. --
Dalton Hunter totaled two goals and one assist as the Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team rolled to a 6-2 victory over Canisius in Atlantic Hockey action on Friday night.
Derek Barach,
Matthew Whittaker,
Michael Bevilacqua and
Steven Ipri also had goals for the Lakers.
Tommaso Bucci recorded a playmaker as he totaled three assists. Whittaker added two assists while single assists were credited to Bevilacqua and Duszak.

Garrett Metcalf finished with 33 saves.
Canisius' goals were scored by Grant Meyer and Dylan McLaughlin.
Barach got the Lakers on the board 5:27 into the contest with a power-play goal, receiving assists from Whittaker and Duszak.
MU then put home three scores in the second period to take a 4-0 lead into the final frame.
Whittaker, Bevilacqua and Hunter scored within a 5:37 span. Whittaker scored on the power play with assistance from Duszak and Barach. He then assisted Bevilacqua's goal before Hunter received an assist from Bucci.
Hunter pushed the advantage to 5-0 in the third with assists from Bucci and Bevilacqua. Meyer gave the Golden Griffins their first goal, but the Lakers responded 49 seconds later on Ipri's goal. Ipri received assists from Hunter and Bucci.
McLaughlin finished the scoring with 1:54 remaining in the contest.
The teams will meet again on Saturday in Erie at the Mercyhurst Ice Center. Faceoff is slated for 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased
