Field Hockey Loses 6-0 to East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's field hockey team suffered a 6-0 loss to East Stroudsburg on Saturday.
 
Victoria Triaga made four saves in net for the Lakers (1-4), before Gabriella Amico came in and made two saves.
 
Kelli Shapiro, Emily Spangler, Paige Harrold, Ashley Ceschini, Karly Conway and Samantha Bruttomesso-Clarke scored one goal apiece for East Stroudsburg (4-1).
 
Maddie Richie played 61:09 in net without seeing a shot before Margaret Fulton came in and made two saves.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Sept. 25, when they travel to Slippery Rock for a 7 p.m. game.
