SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- The Mercyhurst men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 non-conference loss to Notre Dame (Ohio) on Sunday.

The host Falcons (2-0) tallied a pair of second-half goals -- the first 1:15 into the period and the second with 1:19 remaining.

Martin Jarc stopped three shots in net for the Lakers (1-1).

David Torralba and Arthur Favero had the Notre Dame goals.

The Falcons held a 10-6 shot advantage while MU held an 8-7 edge in corner kicks.

The Lakers will return to action on Thursday with a 1 p.m. non-conference home matchup against Goldey-Beacom.
