GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to Seton Hill in its season opener and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opener on Thursday.
In goal,
Vilde Wold had six saves for the Lakers (0-1, 0-1).
Randi Selbekk tallied the game-winner for SHU (1-0, 1-0) while Griffin goalie Jessica Neill stopped six shots.
Seton Hill held a 16-12 shot advantage while the Lakers had a 5-4 edge on corner kicks.
The Lakers will play next on Saturday when they visit PSAC opponent East Stroudsburg for a 1 p.m start.
