The Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team is rated 21st on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll -- one spot up from the previous week -- as announced on Monday.
On the IWLCA poll, The Lakers received 89 points. The Top 5 consists of Adelphi (602), Lindenwood (594), Le Moyne (592), Florida Southern (556) and Florida Tech (524).
Last week, Mercyhurst went 1-1 with a 9-5 win over Slippery Rock and then a 19-14 loss to then-18th-ranked East Stroudsburg.
The Lakers (9-5, 7-3) have two home games this week. They will host Edinboro on Wednesday and Kutztown on Saturday.
