ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The 17th-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team defeated Roberts Wesleyan, 13-5, in non-conference action on Sunday.
Colin Greenway was the Lakers' leading scorer with three goals and one assist.
Devin Pipher and
Austin Robare added two goals each while single goals were recorded by
Greg Weyl,
Dom Perna,
Patrick Liddy,
Jarrett Cook,
Dan Kritkausky and
Nicholas Bartone.
Pipher, Perna and Cook also had assists. Weyl finished with five groundballs and two caused turnovers while Pipher and Liddy picked up four GBs each.

Alec Starr totaled seven saves and five GBs.
The Lakers (9-4) jumped out to a six-goal lead in the first half and led 8-3 at intermission. The host Redhawks twice closed their deficit to four before MU ran off the game's final four goals.
Mercyhurst held a 48-19 shot advantage and 40-30 edge in GBs. RWC was 12-8 in the faceoff circle.
Roberts' goals were scored by Alex Bianchi, Cody Menzies, Gavin Marsh, Kyle Dunham and Mike Richardson. Brennan Mackey had 25 saves in net.
The Lakers will play next on Saturday when they host Ohio Valley in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action.
