BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- The 21st-ranked Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team will visit Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponent Bloomsburg for a 1 p.m. contest on Saturday.
Mercyhurst is coming off a 14-1 loss to then-eighth-rated Limestone.
Grace Lawson had the lone goal for Mercyhurst. She was assisted by
Kristin Anderson.
Anderson and
Taylor Izzo are the Lakers' leading point-getter in 2018, totaling eight points each. Anderson has six goals and two assists while Izzo has two goals and six assists.
Angelina Simon and
Cassandra Ellis have scored five and four goals, respectively.
Anderson also leads the team in draw controls (14) while leading defender
Kira Kolb has 10 groundballs and seven caused turnovers.
Three different goalies have seen time in the cage for Mercyhurst, combining for a 14.33 goals-against average and .419 save percentage.
Grace Keller is Bloomsburg's leading scorer with 10 goals and six assists on the season. Goalie Angela DiPasquale is 2-1 with an 11.55 GAA and .463 save percentage.
The Lakers (1-2) and Huskies (2-1) have met each other 22 times in each other's school history. Mercyhurst leads the all-time series, 12-10.
