Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa.-- Miykah McIntosh and Patrick Smith led the Lakers with 21 points as Mercyhurst downed Lock Haven 80-62 to give them their first PSAC victory of the year.

Patrick Smith also led the Lakers in the rebound category with eight while Derrick Ellis Jr. had 13 points and team high 7 assists.

For Lock Haven (2-3, 1-1), Matt Cerruti had the game high 24 points and also recorded 5 rebounds for the Bald Eagles.

Mercyhurst (5-1, 1-1) never gave up the lead throughout the contest with the its largest lead reaching 21 in the second half. Just under midway through the 2nd half, Lock Haven was able to erase the Lakers lead only to seven after a 10-4 run.  Mercyhurst was able to stop that run and play lock down defense the rest of the way to eventually win the game 80-62.

On the day, Mercyhurst out rebounded Lock Haven 32-31 also out shot them with a field goal percentage of 57% with the Bald Eagles  shooting 40% from the field. The Lakers shot from behind the arc 13-22 (59%) while the eagles shot 6-17 (35%).

Mercyhurst will play their next game  at home on Saturday, Dec. 8th as they host Bloomsburg.
